Our House, a non-profit, peer-operated recovery home for sober, mature and/or disabled alcoholics desiring an independent and dignified lifestyle, is located at 1431 Ionia Street, in the heart of Jacksonville Florida’s historic Springfield district. Patterned with guidelines adopted from the AA way of life, the social structure of Our House offers residents a wholesome and serene manner of living. Our door opens daily and the coffee is on allowing both residents and visitors the opportunity to meet new friends within a quiet, safe and spiritually oriented environment. Presently, Our House hosts two Alcoholics Anonymous groups, which meet weekly on Monday and Thursday. Conveniently located within minutes of Jacksonville’s downtown area, including “The Landing,” a variety of restaurants and events are available.
